    These are the offers in Scotland, the booze offer will probably be different in the rest of the country



    Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 14 Aug: This weekend (Sat 18 and Sun 19 August), Lidl is offering up to 50% off five products as part of its ongoing 'Super Weekend'; promotion in store (find your nearest).

    The discounted products are:

    Cimarosa Chilean Pedro Jimenez wine 75cl - 2.99 (norm 3.99)
    Valley Spire British full-flavoured grated cheddar 450g - 1.49 (norm 2.49)
    Formil liquid washing capsules x 20 - 1.49 (norm 2.29)
    Floralys kitchen towels 4 rolls x 60 sheets !!!8211; 94p (norm 1.89)

    And in Scotland:

    Late Harvest Tokaji wine 50cl - 5.99 (norm 7.99)

    I want cheese. I've always had "the next block" in the fridge, ready for when I run out - but this time I've used it all and run out ... and was waiting for a "cheap cheese" buying moment.

    So long as I remember ... this looks like it. Two blocks will do me a treat.
