    I don't see anything worth buying here, unless the peas are a gigantic pack.

    Thanks Dl...would have gone for the breaded fishcakes, but found recently that Heron similar products are better value.

    I can see carnage at opening time when this starts where people are fighting to save 25p having driven 5 miles to do so.

    I don't think this promotion is aimed at us Lidl regulars. We are already quite comfortable with non-branded items. This is about making a PR splash, potentially attracting brand shoppers, and aligning Lidl to poundshops at a time when they are vulnerable.

    Another week of 99p offers from 25th July. As in previous week - not much for the average Lidl customer in the branded selection , though the meatballs & bacon may be worth looking at
