Hamilton Lock?

Does anyone know anything about a company called Hamilton Lock[e]?
My friend is struggling with debt and is thinking about using a debt management company by this name. I assume its to set up an IVA or similar. She asked me to check them out on the web for her as she has no internet access but I cant seem to find any direct info about them. Of course if you type "hamilton lock" and "debt" into google you get a bunch of confusing results and spam etc.
Has anyone heard of them or know if they are good or bad?
Thanks

You should advise your friend to use CCCS or PayPlan. They are free services for those needing debt advice or advice on IVA's. HL charge fees and it's a waste of money, you can get all the help your friend needs for zilch.0

If you Google for "hamilton locke" you get these people:
www. hamiltonlocke. co. uk (added a few spaces as there is no way I'm giving bloodsuckers like these a free link.)
They will charge large/excessive fees for whatever service they provide.
Get your friend to contact The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 or Payplan - Tel: 0800 917 7823 who will not.
EDIT: And I keep seeming to cross-post with malestrom07 on whatever forum it is.

Thanks. I did suspect this was the case. These kind of companies are evil.. preying on people at their most vulnerable
Thanks for all your help0 -
There is also the National Debthelpline which have downloadable of information that they can read today to see if a DMP fits the bill or not, they can also do a DMP for you if you fit certain criteria. I manage my own using all there template letters and budget sheets.0

Yes i'd stay away from these i was using Debt Point before these took them over since then not had any statements sent (used to get 1 every month with Debt Point).
Just sent a letter stating i want a copy of my file sending as i will be going else where.
I did know when it was Debt Point that they took £25 themselves as of up to now i dont know Hamilton Lockes charge as no Statements plus i've started to get letters from the creditors again so wondering if they are paying them0
