Is it too early for? 10th May 18 at 8:33 AM
    Ice Cream

I had a cone yesterday when out with the dog, first one for a long time and it was delicious, the ice cream was whippy and soft and the cone wafer was crisp and not soggy but the drawback is that I now have a craving for another one.

Is it too early in the day to have an ice cream cone?

Any thoughts on what else it is too early in the day for?

I don't see why it is too early for an ice cream if you can find one.
If I wasn't stuck in the office I'd join you for an ice cream in the sun.

I've got all types in my freezer but now want a Whippy one with a flake and strawberry sauce.

Too early for my daughter to be eating left over take-out pizza but she doesn't seem to think so

IMHO pizza is better cold than hot. I have been known to cook a pizza to be eaten later cold...

It's definitely not too early in the day for ice cream. Maybe too early for wine, however

    Wine is grape juice.
    Grapes are fruit.
You should have 5 fruits and veg a day.
How else are you going to get 5 a day in your diet?

I'm not really a big fan of ice cream - but I do like a Mr Whippy!

I don't think it's too early for anything really....who decided that certain things should only be eaten or drunk at certain times of the day??

    Never too early.

Although I was put off last year though by a chewy wafer cornet from the ice cream van.

Did do you have one this morning Wizard?

Just done a large load of ironing. OH had gone to Farm Foods to buy Soleros which arenon offer - my reward.

Confession- I!!!8217;m actually drinking an elderflower and rose presses with vodka! ( as recommended, of course). Boozing in the afternoon.

I used to love mr hippy cones, especially with a flake in!
Then about 3 years ago my OH bought me one when I was out, but due back shortly thereafter, so he put it in the fridge.......when I got home I went to retrieve it.......and it had melted. Into the bowl, looking like something a cat had puked up!!
It was a half congealed mess of pale beige greasy slop!!
I!!!8217;ve never ever wanted one since!

Try it if you don!!!8217;t believe me!

The fridge is nowhere near cold enough for any kind of ice cream
