Credit file

Nationwide 75percent: £1109 to £277. They are sending me a letter.

What do I need to make sure they put on the credit file?

  • As far as I am aware the balance should be reduce to zero, the account marked as satisfied and presumably closed if it isn't already

Your post is a bit jumbled and not overly clear. Have you had a 75% discount accepted to settle the account?

If so you need confirmation in writing that the settlement offer will close your account and be marked on your credit file as partially satisfied (this is a true reflection and unlikely you will get it marked as settled) and that the balance remaining is zero.

Do not pay anything until you have written confirmation of the offer
