Annual Tax Return 15th Apr 18 at 8:52 PM
Why does my Annual Tax Return total earnings come to less than my actual pay on my payslips? Is there something the tax man does not include (e.g. pension contributions).
    Thanks
    Mark

on your payslips you will see an figure called taxable pay.

if you pay into a pension then the taxable pay will be less than your gross pay

is this your first ever tax return?
