SIPP Transfer II to HL

Options
I'm in the process of transferring my SIPP from II to HL.

Completed the forms online at HL.

Then received form from II to complete.

This form is in two sections, one for me and one for provider (HL).

At the end of my section it states...

"On receipt of your completed form, we will contact the administrator of the receiving scheme to ask them to complete the next section"

So I sent the form back to II with the administrator section uncompleted.

I have now received the form back from II with a note saying that administrator section must be completed. The letter include a prepaid envelope for return to II. There is no other information on the letter.

I am waiting for a response from II on the matter (not the quickest to respond).

In the meantime there seem to be a couple of possibilities.

1. II have incorrectly returned the form to me when they meant to send to HL for completion.

2. II expect me to send the form to HL, have them return it to me and I return to II.

3. II expect me to send the form to HL for completion and for them to send it directly to II.

Has anyone been through this process already and can give an opinion.

Ask HL. Ive always found their advice excellent but my guess is that you should send this to HL and have them complete it and send on.

    Wow they are good.

    Picked up on first ring.

Said just to send everything to them and they will take care of it.

Still no response from Interactive Investor so decision to move is looking vindicated.

Yep... good but expensive. If picking up on the 1st ring is the criteria by which you are satisfied, then good for you.
My annual charges if at HL? £1k+
My annual charges at II? £96.00
