Pusser's Rum

Not sure whether this is the correct section but any advice appreciated.
I've found a bottle of Pusser's Rum which was opened several years ago but is 95% full, will it still be fit to consume?
Seems a shame to pour it away. :-)

    Normal sprits gin vodka brandy rum whiskey are ok for years it's sugar based drinks that go off Tia Maria Bailey's Malibu etc

    My parents weren't "drinkers" but had a "booze cupboard" for Christmas etc., mostly for visitors. (IIRC my dad only really liked Advocaat.)
    I remember opened bottles being carted around the world on moves - one I distinctly recall was bright blue. :eek:
    The only thing that didn't last long were the cocktail cherries. :o

    Spirits like Rum will be fine for some time - as long as they aren't kept somewhere exposed to sunlight.

    OMG I loved a good snowball myself as a seven year old.

    its fermented, fermented things last ages. if you dont want to drink it make boozy fruit for christmas

    You could use all or some of it to soak some fruit to make a cake. It's quite tasty!
