Normal sprits gin vodka brandy rum whiskey are ok for years it's sugar based drinks that go off Tia Maria Bailey's Malibu etc0

My parents weren't "drinkers" but had a "booze cupboard" for Christmas etc., mostly for visitors. (IIRC my dad only really liked Advocaat.)
I remember opened bottles being carted around the world on moves - one I distinctly recall was bright blue. :eek:
The only thing that didn't last long were the cocktail cherries.
Spirits like Rum will be fine for some time - as long as they aren't kept somewhere exposed to sunlight.0 -
