Gift card for 16yr old

I usually buy our DN an iTunes gift card for Xmas but am considering some other retailer this year, was thinking Amazon (he can still buy music and such) but then the min £20 for free delivery could be a drawback for him.

Just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions wort considering (any with a discount would be nice)

Given the problems with gift cards (e.g. retailers going bust!), perhaps a cheque or cash, sneakily wrapped in a little gift box to disguise it?

I don’t have an issue with cash as such but I do with vouchers.

Giving vouchers is like saying I didn’t know what to get you so I’m giving a little spending power but I’m telling you where to spend it.

I’d go for cash as well but wrap it up in something like socks

I've done cards in the past at xmas because i think it takes more effort to go an get a card and choose it thoughtfully than just take cash out of the cash point and shove it in an envelope. However I agree that it then can look a bit like telling someone where they have to spend your gift - so cash it is, I have some money wallets so no need for socks or the like. many thanks

One4all card is basically a preloaded electron payment card. Can be used in loads of stores.
