in Cutting tax
I (a UK resident and taxpayer) have had investments and cash accounts with a Swiss bank for several years, and they have provided annual certificates of income and CG corresponding to the UK tax year.
They are now saying that with the expiry of a certain tax treaty between UK and Switzerland, they are no longer obliged to do this, and can only provide a certificate summarising a Jan-Dec tax cycle
Are they correct? Do I have to calculate my own Apr-Apr liabilities from dozens of statement entries?
Any insight will be of interest
Thanks
