E: 29/03 £4000 of holiday vouchers (FB)

The following rules apply to your participation in our ‘Win £4000 Holiday Vouchers Competition’ (“Competition”).
By submitting your entry and by entering the Competition you agree to these terms and conditions.
To enter: No purchase necessary. Internet access and valid Facebook account required to participate. To enter, first “Like” the Matalan Facebook page, then click onto the competition post and leave a comment telling us which dream destination you would like to discover and why.

All correctly completed entries will be automatically entered into the prize draw. Entrants only need to comment once to be included in the draw. Multiple posts will only be counted as one entry. Entry made via a third party (including by use of an automated service) is not permitted. An entry sent in this way will not be valid.

All comments must be family friendly and must not be offensive in anyway. Whether a comment is deemed to be offensive shall be at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter shall be entitled to moderate all comments entered and the Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to remove any comments from the entry pool.

By entering the Competition, entrants are permitting Matalan to use their entry for promotional purposes across all of its social media accounts.

Promotion period runs from 16th March 2017 until 28th March 2017 inclusive.

Entry restrictions: The Competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, or their agents, families and suppliers, or anyone connected with this offer are not eligible to participate, including staff in store.

Prize: There will be 1 winner who will win the prize of £4000 holiday vouchers that can be used to spend on a holiday or holidays of their choice.

The vouchers must be used within one year of the date of issue. The vouchers will be redeemable with those holiday service providers that will be notified to the winner in advance of them having to accept the prize. Any further conditions attached to the vouchers shall also be provided to the winner when they are notified that they have won the Competition. The winner is under no obligation to accept the prize.

Prize Draw and notification of winners: Entrants who have entered correctly will be included in a random draw from which the winner will be drawn at random from all entrants on Facebook. The random draw shall be verified by an independent adjudicator, whose name shall be available on request. The winner will be contacted through Facebook and they will then need to contact the Promoter to claim their prize. All entrants must ensure that they can be contactable on the same social media account used for entry. If after 14 days the winner has not claimed their prize, or if the winner chooses not to accept the prize, an alternative winner will be chosen. Any further selection of winners will be in accordance with these terms and conditions.

The prize is exactly as described. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The Promoter will not be responsible for the non-receipt of any entry and cannot be held liable for system failures on the website or for any failure by third parties to fulfil their obligations or for any acts or omissions outside the control of the Promoter although the Promoter will endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason at its absolute discretion.

The Promoter shall have no further responsibility to the winner in respect of the prize beyond the dispatch of the vouchers to them. Once the winner redeems their voucher, any holiday(s) purchased will become subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant holiday service providers. The Promoter disclaims all liability in respect of any holiday chosen by the winner.

The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions at any time, or to withdraw the Competition altogether for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

The Promoter’s decision is final in connection with all matters arising from this Competition and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility, liability or any consequences whatsoever for participating in this Competition or the prize offered in relation to the Competition. This Competition is governed by the laws of England and in the event of any dispute the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The Promoter reserves the right to seek and issue publicity on behalf of the winner. By entering the Competition, the winner agrees to participate in publicity as reasonably requested surrounding the Competition.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Participants are providing their information to the Promoter and not Facebook.
