Baby steps to mortgage freedom for beanielou. 4th Nov 14 at 2:19 PM
My first thread on the MFW board!!
My mortgage has 6 & 1/2 years left to run.
My income seems to decrease more & more & it becomes more & and more of a challange to pay my hefty(to me) mortgage.
I have managed an overpayment last month as I got some £££'s unexpectedly.
My biggest fear is not being able to pay my mortgage & loosing my home.
So I have decided that baby steps are the way forward~even a fiver or a tenner overpaid in a month is better than nothing.

As you've told countless people in the past, plodding is good. You're still managing one foot in front of the other. With all you're dealing with, you need to give yourself credit for keeping going.

Oh Beanie - wish I was close enough to share a cuppa and give you a hug.....
Hang on in there - take it a step at a time rather than looking a the big picture if it's too daunting. At work we used to a reading rescue scheme called Toe by Toe - which is when step by step is too much to handle. I often think of that title when life's tough and break problems into minuscule tasks to get me through - a toe at a time.....

Good lord, beanie, it sounds terrible for you right now. Step by step, honey - though I do know what you mean about taking your eye off the ball - as well as the tax, I've got insurance renewals, and I need to recalculate because I have some of my mum's things now ... and I just felt terrible inside, I didn't do anything at all about it

    Thinking of you.x
