E: 11/08 ‘Doctor Who’ contest: Eleventh Doctor tribute (Effort)

As Doctor Who fans across the planet prepare for the arrival of Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor in August, CultBox has decided to give the Eleventh Doctor a final tribute…
We want you to send in a short video clip of you (or your friends/family/pets, etc.) recreating your favourite moment from Matt Smith’s Doctor Who era (2010-2013).
Later this summer we’ll be editing our favourite clips together into a compilation video (like the one above) which we’ll then publish on the site – and the maker of our favourite clip will win a bundle of Doctor Who goodies!
The rules:
- Your clip should be between 10-30 seconds long.
- Do not add any music or text/titles to your clip.
- Your clip should recreate the moment (and any dialogue) as closely as possible.
- Do not include any actual footage from the TV show.
- Film your clip in landscape ratio, not portrait ratio.
- The competition is open internationally.
- The deadline for entries is 11:59pm GMT on Monday 11 August 2014.
Don’t worry if you’ve not got a proper video camera (your phone will be ok) or if you don’t have time to make a costume – we’ll be judging based on the imagination shown rather than how professional it looks.
How to enter:
Just email your clip to doctorwho@cultbox.co.uk or upload your clip onto YouTube and send the link over here.
Please include the following information:
- Your name(s), town and country.
- Your email address.
- The title of the Doctor Who episode your moment is from.
