Help regarding UKCS

has anyone come across UKCS or UK career services.?

Like an idiot I have just paid via my credit card £498 to have two CV's
Written and help finding a job. The guy phoned me when I was at my most gullible (being unemployed for three months) and everything he said seemed to make sense. it wasn't until I got off the phone and realised that I had just spent over £400 I did some checking on the internet and realised that a lot of people are saying this is a scam, and in hindsight I think it must be. I rang my credit card company straight away to try and cancel this payment however they said I would need to either write or email UKCS and cancel the package.
After emailing them I have been barraged with phone calls from the company on my mobile and home phone! leaving messages to say I need to speak to them, which I do not want to do.
I would be really grateful for any help or suggestions
Thanks in advance

If you dotn want to speak to them then write to them asking for a refund. Do they have a website ? What does it say re refunds ?
  • I haven't spoken to them however the guy rang me on my mobile using a different number, once I knew it was him I turned the phone off.
he left a voice mail to say that the money had already gone through.
I've checked their website but it doesn't mention anything about refunds

anyway thanks for spending the time to respond
  • Your secret financial super-hero: Section 75 laws mean your credit card must protect purchases over £100 for free, so if there's a problem you could get your money back.
