Laminating documents?

Sorry for probably posting on the wrong board but could not figure out on which one to do it.

Every year I buy a Network Railcard which is a paper thing with the quality of train ticket and therefore wears off during the year significantly even though I don't use it that frequently.
I think it would be nice to get it laminated however I don't have a slightest clue where it can be done.
I live in London and obviously because it is huge I would be grateful if someone could advice me in which places(eg supermarket chains, WH Smith chains etc) can I get it laminated.

    I used to cover my railcard in sticky plastic - you can get that in rolls from stationery shops like WH smith - it's usually used for putting over book covers.
    Indecision is the key to flexibility :)

    I don't know what they're called but most stationers sell packs of pvc cards that have sticky-back plastic on the back - they get used a lot for ID cards and that sort of thing. You can use these to cover paper cards and they're really robust.

    When I bought Railcards at the station I always got a free plastic wallet to hold it. These were also issued to contain season tickets and photocards. Are these no longer available?

    A ticket in a wallet can be removed if required by an ticket inspector. I don't know if laminating a card might cause issues.

    If you want something more substantial than a cardboard Railcard, order online and you will get a robust plastic one. You might also consider buying a 3-year card thus getting a small discount and immunity from future Railcard price increases.

    I can not see anywhere on the website it's mentioning 3 year cards that could be made of plastic http://www.railcard.co.uk/network/

    Sorry. I assumed that all Railcards were issued in the same way. I had not realised that Network Railcards are only available for 1-year and only from stations.

    16-25, Friends&Family, Senior and Disabled Railcards are available online in 1-year and 3-year versions.

    I have received plastic versions of 3-year Senior and 1-year Disabled. I assume (perhaps wrongly?) that all cards ordered online will arrive as plastic.

    Ask at the station for the little sticky plastic cover you get for rail ID cards.
