All fine for me. I registered yesterday without adding any funds, and logged in today just fine. Played both days.
Once you have logged in the advent calender is in a small box top left of page.

When you register it takes you through three steps, the third of which is to add funds. It actually says you're registered after step two though, so no need to add any funds.Thanks to all OPs and everyone who helps/posts etc!!:T0
