I need a moan - so here it is...

After DH having his lightbuld moment 2 weeks ago i thought we were well and truly on the way forward.

We went on holiday last week just monday - friday and we came home well within budget (i transferred spends into a savings account, which i don't use, with cash card meaning we could only spend money if we lifted it at cashpoint).

Anyway, i checked the bank on thursday and there was £80 in the current account which was fine. I switched £40 for petrol to get us home on the friday then switched DS1 bike when we did get home (it was his birthday pressie). I then got DH to transfer money to cover the difference. I was really proud of myself for being so orgainsed and determind not to get charges again.

I got a letter through the door this monring from HBOS saying i would be getting 2 £30 charges for the 2 payments and £28 for going over my OD limit.

When i called them up they said that one of the DD's i have set up came off a few days later than normal taking the available balance meanng that the 2 switch payments made me go overdrawen.

The girl also said that a switch payment for £2.35 on sunday has also incured a £30 fee. I am so angry about this one as it DH's fault. I checked my purse on saturday night and i had £3 in it. I got up and ready on sunday morning to go for bread and milk which came to £2.35 but when i opened my purse again DH had taken £1 out so i had no option but to switch the poxy amount.

He is blaming me but as far as i am aware i did everything sensibly.

I am just having a really down day. I feel as though we are getting ahead then we fall behind again. It's so crap.

I'm sorry for going on but i need to let off steam somewhere.

I hate debt so much. DH is suspended from work at the moment so all his overtime is gone too. I am on maternity leave and will need to go back to work next month to try and get some OT to make up for it.

I just feel like screaming at him to get his butt in gear or get out.
