Opposite Gender comps

I am a bloke and just entered a 'Womens Own ' comp.
If my name was chosen as a winner do you think I would be disregarded? or has anyone had any success in entering opposite gender magazine comps?

Mr GB won a bra in a facebook comp which posted his name, so he came in for a bit of ribbing :D. Had last laugh tho' as prize arrived as a Debenhams voucher that could be used on anything :)

Wait til you see a "Gay Times" comp with a decent prize...
  • Love the gay comps as the homophobes stay away which = more chance of winning!
I've no problem with womens comps either (I'm a bloke). Yet to win one though.

I won a dvd with a gay site and oh it was not the same film I was thinking off when I entered:eek:

I did find a home for it though so happy that someone could use it but did I get ribbed.

that will teach me to look at the info before entering:rotfl:

I am a single male and I do enter some women's competitions if the prize is something I would like e.g. a DVD, electrical goods, supermarket vouchers or cash but I do not enter for prizes like cosmetics, perfumes, women's fashion, baby stuff, wedding related prizes and I also avoid family holiday competitions.

I also enter the gay competitions (e.g. Attitude and Gay Times magazines).

I enter a lot of men's comps so I hope my name won't put anyone off. I like gadgets and the best comps are in men's mags. Women's mags seem to assume women only want techy stuff if it's pink!
