Jo Platt Beef in Ale recipe - help!

Options
Can anyone who might have the cookbook with this recipe please remind me what I need in terms of the "wet" ingredients? I think the sauce has sugar, ale, balsamic and tomato puree in it. Does it also have worcester sauce?

Any help would be much appreciated x

I dont know Jo Platts recipe hun. but I CAN give you the recipe I use!
    stewing or braising steak
bottle of either Newcastle Brown or any Brown Ale
    salt and pepper
tomato puree (tablespoon, but its not essential)
    sliced onion
    sliced mushrooms
teaspoon of dried mixed herbs ( not essential)
dash of woseceter sauce ( I cant spell it!)
and a beef oxo cube or bovril cube
coat the beef chunks in flour and fry, then tip into a casserole dish.
fry the onion until just begining to colour and add the mushroom and fry til the onion soften a bit.
    add them to the meat.
deglaze the frying pan with the newcastle brown and add the tomatoe puree herbs worcseter sauce and the oxo cube to make a gravy.
add that to the meat and veg
add any other ingredients and top up with water until the meat is covered. stir well and put in oven, gas 4 for at least 2 hours! if you have more time, give it another hour. or slow cook all day!
