Do you mean the band was incorrect or the council incorrectly calculate the bill (which is rare). If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Tell the council you were previous occupier and give dates of occupation. They will calculate what you overpaid and either refund by cheque or (if same council as current home) credit this coming year's CT bill with this amount. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
