Child support reforms appeal

Hi all....

Well where do I start...!!!????

To cut a long story short I was unable to attend a hearing which recently took place by the tribunal’s service and have now ended up with a letter and loads off home work!!!

Off course the hearing went ahead without me present even though I wrote a letter asking for it to be rearranged for another date and the ex wife was present.

Looking at the notes taken by the judge my ex wife has come out with lie after lie after lie but the one thing that really annoys me is now I have to prove my innocence by providing credit card statements bank statements etc etc and fill out a complete form breaking down my whole lifestyle from 3 years ago.

Why do I have to provide evidence to prove my innocence when she has not provided any evidence about her claims against me????

I have got all the paper work of the csa before they referred it to the tribunal and I’ve read it from the back to the front and all I seem to be reading is INSAFICENT EVIDENCE where ever letters or phone calls were made by her! and they referred it to the tribunals???????

I have always paid CSA payments never missed one and do not owe them anything. I never see my children go short off anything and see them on a regular bases.

Is there any legal help out there from a specialised firm who could maybe attend court with me???

You don't have to provide the information, but if you don't the tribunal service reserve the right to assume that you have something to hide. if you have nothing to hide, then why not prove your innocence? If you really don't have the lifestyle that your ex claims then you can prove it. The point of the tribunal, is to find facts and you can prove facts or not as you wish.
