  • I've got the i-run and I really like it, though it is quite heavy (but I guess that adds to the stability). I researched treadmills in this price range thoroughly on ciao etc before buying and this was the only model where buyers weren't complaining about their treadmill breaking down.

I got reebok I run from ebay, brand new
Had about 4 months & still as good as new
paid £245 including delivery (very heavy!!)
  • my wife bought one earlier this year with all the gizmo's on it to try and keep her arthitis at bay, but as i thought it didn't do her any good.
so we now have a useless ornament in the spare bedroom.
but it seems a good machine for anyone young enough, and thats not me either.
  • It all depends how serious a runner you are how much you are going to use it and do you need one that folds up, what functions you want.

  • I got the Carl Lewis Treatmill on Amazon last year and it is really good. It is £279.99 - only thing though, it does not have computerised incline, only manual incline, but a great treadmill, and fast delivery too.

  • Sorry, only just got back. I got the i-run from gymworld.co.uk, but they sent me a different colour from the one I ordered. I wasn't all that fussed though. I got it from there because they threw in a free gift and topcashback. But it seems to be the same price everywhere. It has a manual incline too. It seems very sturdy, but I can't guarantee that it would be OK for you. Maybe give gymworld a ring, and ask, they are really friendly.

Got a reebok I run about 6 weeks ago its quite a sturdy well made treadmill.

Bought nearly new off ebay for £150

Absolutely love the I run its the best thing I have ever bought and it folds up easy when not in use.
  • Hi, I have also been looking at the I run on argos.co.uk. Are they ok to go in an upstairs bedroom? OH has scared me, saying it will be too heavy, but he's not keen on me buying one anyway!
