Asda warranties

Ages ago. We bought a pacific dvd player and i took it back (faulty) with receipt last year, asda had already dropped warranty down to 1 year by then. Given a replacement with 1 year warranty, guess what, just broke14 months later, and asda dont want to know. Would not budge, even for repair, went and bought another from tesco
