Refilling HP Cartridges...

Dear Friends...
I have bought a variable speed fine drill to make a hole in a HP Cartridge so as to relpace the ink from a kit I have bought in PC World...where do I drill the hole and what dimension...The Cartridge is a HP 56 and has a "port" on the top under the lable and one under the cartridge...which should I use....

Should I drill in reverse to avoid "debris" getting into the cartridge....?

Any advice appreciated...

    i have a hp printer 56 cartridge

    when i lift up the sticker on the top, there are 5 holes alread open, if i fill it up i put ink in all 5 holes until it reaches to the brim

    i have never had to drill, although i have now seen refill kits that include a little drill (which is 3mm)

    In my opinion the best ink and instructions come from
    http://www.inktec.com/ If you go to the website they have video files you can download. The refill kits are also available from https://www.colourfill.co.uk and they have instructions in them. I have been refilling my hp cartridges for about 18 months and this info is the result of lots of research.

    Advice to those about to refill their cartridges: don't.

    You can't refill a cartridge that has been out of the printer for more than a few minutes as the capillary tube dries out.
    That means that if your cartridge dries out in the middle of a print run, you have to drop what you are doing and refill it.
    Even if you cover your desk with newspapers you still get an 'orrible inky mess and inky hands a la Lady Macbeth, but in a range of colours. The ink takes several days to completely disappear.
    For my my Deskject 840C, I had to buy ballbearings to put in at the end (the refill pack only supplied one) and this meant going to a specialist motor shop and ordering them and calling back to collect them.
