I've Just Won What I Think is a Con

I've just come home to find a recorded delivery letter from seasons holidays to say I've won a prize to the value of £3,750. I rang but it was a recorded message and they haven't rung back yet. I think its the prize draw at the bottom of the screen here:

My excitement soon faded when I realised you have to pay an annual fee of £367 and for your own travel. By the time I pay for expensive flights I don't think I'll be much better off. What does everyone else think before I commit myself to £367 a year?

Looked on the site. The accomodation for 4 people in most cases is just a one bed apartment that sleeps 4 people, okay if you've got small children I suppose.

Yesterday, i won a Heinz competition - £50 off a Thomas Cook holiday, but I can't afford to go on a Thomas Cook Holiday. The only prize I've won since I started comping that I like is a Ruth Rendell book for £6.99. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself. Am not going to accept the timeshare prize as can't afford flights and £367 a year.

Thanks, I think what fooled me was the recorded delivery letter.

It isn't a scam - it's a bargain. They will send you a letter offering you it for half price.

We would have gone for it BUT they demanded money that night or no discount.

BUT it is NOT a prize... that's where they are conning people :(
