Best city centre parking for commuters? Springfield Quay scary...

Travel in from Ayrshire. Been parking in the Springfield Quay for the last few months, but came back on Monday to find a flyer on my car telling me that they would be monitoring for commuters using the spaces, that it's private property blah blah blah...
Anyone got any alternative suggestions? Or is the Quay still open for business and the flyer just an attempt to scare people? Cheers.

I don't know the Quay but it is a shopping centre, right? Usually their parking is for customers only and there are big signs saying it's free for 2, 3 or 4 hours. Of course it's not meant to be for commuters, they don't want their car park full of people who aren't brining any money into the centre.
Of course it being Scotland, they aren't able to clamp you - they can give you a penalty notice but see elsewhere on this site for how enforceable it is.
I'm told the X77 bus is pretty good.

No clamping allowed, tickets aren't worth the paper they are printed on, park at the Harvester end and stuff them.0

Are you seriously suggesting that the property owners have no rights?
They can raise a civil action should it become a regular occurrence.0
