Radio competitions

Hello compers!
I have a question for compers who have won Global/Bauer competitions with online entries.
I want to ask about off-air competitions.
Were you contact by phone or email? If phone what time did they call? How long after competition end date did they contact you? Please add if it was Global or Bauer station.

I won on LBC(Global) a few years back, just the standard monthly prize of a tech package, they phoned me in the evening probably about 7.30/8pm.

Can't really remember how long from closing date, but I think it was very close to it.

I just look at competitions as a bit of fun and if I win a prize it's a bonus, I stopped keeping an eye on end dates, except for the big prizes, a long time.

I've had emails & phone calls, with Global I had a missed call about a £1000 john lewis voucher but they called again an hour later and they had also emailed me.

With bauer I won flights to Italy and that just came as an email. With bauer I won tickets to a gig and they phoned me, so I don't think there's a set way of doing it.
