Security Fast Track suspended at the International Airport

    Handy enough.

    I think there will be peak times and quiet times over the next few weeks.

    My next holiday is departing Sunday 2nd September so hopefully it will be less volatile by then.

    Every week before then just travelling for work. :o

    A lot of reports yesterday about security queues at Belfast International. Arrived this morning at 6:30 and was through security at 6:40, no big dramas

    And therein lies the problem. Sometimes its ridiculously bad, sometimes its ok, but you cant really take that risk,

    Monday morning was ok for me. Arrived at 05:40, through "Fast Track" security for 06:05.

    1-2 hours to get through security is frankly unacceptable and they've clearly not planned for the impact of increasing volumes of people through the airport.
