Okay, so this counts as officially weird.

I just got a swagbutton alert, checked it, it said something Like I had a 29sb survey to complete.

I clicked, it gave me an Amazon giftcard code. I warily checked it in another browser and yes it actually credited me with £20!

I clicked the 'continue' link and got a 'survey completed' blue banner from Swagbucks.

    Definitely baffled. Pleased, but baffled.
I got this too. I'm not sure what it relates to but I couldn't redeem it fast enough :rotfl: :T

They've made a couple of changes overnight. The first is every time that you go to most of the pages an ad pops up entitled 'From Our Partners', which is very, very annoying.
Also, once you've watched the final video in a playlist and it's played through to completion, it now automatically selects a new playlist, although it only seems to select the watch 20 vids for 3sb's even when there are watch 6 vids for 1sb available.

Swagbucks seem to like me today... Already completed my to do list (1 + 10SB), had a very easy 50SB survey and they just gave me a 25SB win for a search. Daily goal smashed already! :D

I just wish they would pay out the 5 orders I have outstanding!! I don't like being owed just in case something happens to my account and I lose it! :(

I'm even getting video overlay ads on my profile page, are they for real with this? It looks REALLY spammy and unprofessional. Is the site going under or something and this is their last push for a bit of pocket change?

That's why (same as with any survey/cashback site etc) I always cash out when I meet the payment threshold so my potential loss through a site folding or closing my account is as small as possible (that's taking £5 with SB as the £3 works out proportionally more expensive).

However if SB wanted to "escape" with as much as possible the sensible thing to do would be to stop the £5 gift cards - not encourage their use by making them better value than the rest so even people who save their bucks would spend them - then make say the £50 or £100 gift cards exceptional value to tempt more people to delay cashing out and then encounter "problems" with making payments perhaps making a few to drag it out a bit longer before the bulk of users gave up.

(Just received a £5 amazon less than an hour after ordering)
