Think I best go too, sleep well all, and hope those trying to wade through a bad week are getting closer to firm ground.

    Thank you:A

    Morning paw sniffers:)

I’m looking out at the field beyond ours. It’s a lake:eek:

Are we all completing our lists for the Small Shops promotion?

    I’ve found a shop that sells Nigella’s dressing gown:rotfl:

I looked at my pre prepared list and had 32 outlets. Two transactions at each. £640 spend and £320 credit.

Then I came to my senses:rotfl:

Do I really need all that stuff?

Anyway to cut a long story short. I have a very lean , mean, fighting machine list now at the ready. Mainly butchers:cool::rotfl:

Had a delivery a few weeks ago - text to say they would be here between 11.14 and 11.44 - looked out at 11.10 - driver outside so I opened the , he came with the parcel but we had to stand and chat for 4 mins as he was not allowed to scan the parcel and take my signature until the specified time???? He said sometimes he is sitting outside a house for over half an hour. Now, that's fine if somebody isn't in until the time quoted, but blinking heck, whose going to complain if their parcel comes early??

Got annoyed with an Argos delivery man one time, he started coming round to our garages and parking up for half an hour to an hour at a time, we have a dire shortage of parking as it is without extra parking, and it is a private parking area, so complained to Argos and informed them that there was plenty of parking, including Lidl car park (1.5 hours parking with no obligation to shop there!). He was obviously waiting between deliveries, never quite understand the idea that you can't deliver early.

WI Bingo tonight. Last year their prizes were home cooked Christmas cakes & mince pies.
So we looked forward to this years evening.

:o We won a basket of out of date condiments - I can't even give them to the food bank :(

Last raffle prize we had was a nice oil painting, we also got some questionable prizes that time though, one of the contributors used to operate "adult" toy dispensing machines :rotfl::rotfl:

We are contributing a M&S dressing gown and smellies set this year, looks so expensive, they are not to know we got it free from the glitch :rotfl::rotfl:

So 11:40 decided I had better order from Argos using the 2 £5 off codes that expired at 11:59pm according to the emails to find they have already stopped working. Not pleased, false advertising, trading standards.

Hope you are going to complain, they should have a record of the codes being rejected. Not as if they can turn around and say it was GMT, as we are on GMT.

    I’ll answer tweets......no:)

We had some flurries yesterday but it didn’t amount to much thank goodness.

But it’s rained all night so I’m guessing the roads will be flooded:o

Can I add the crisps to a gift set shop?

    Thanks Claire

I’m out of touch Claire but check out 3 dogs list and choose the target shop where the crisps are glitching, and choose your gift sets against that store.

Anyone got a shop to post?
