Ive seen people talk about sending cca requests, is this something I should be sending to creditors?
All your unsecured loans, credit cards, catalogue accounts etc, are normally covered by the consumer credit act, this gives you a number of rights, one of those rights is to be able to request a copy of your credit agreement under section 77/79 (dependent on account type) of that act, at any time, as long as a balance is still showing.
I will give you a link to the National Debtline website which goes into the process a bit deeper, and also provides a template letter to use :

Just wondering if someone can help me here, I!!!8217;ve sent letters to my creditors (I!!!8217;ve used a template from StepChange) asking them to stop interest and charges and made a monthly payment offer and included details of income and expenditure, should I make these payments now or wait for a reply? I!!!8217;m dealing with Barclay card, Sainsbury!!!8217;s and Tesco credit card. It!!!8217;s suddenly started to stress me out as payments have been missed and I!!!8217;m reading all sorts about charging orders etc.0

Hi Bounty1
You could wait for a response but there is no harm in starting the payments now as it shows your creditors a willingness to pay, even if it is not as much as the contractual monthly payment. No need to worry about charging orders at this stage. One can only be obtained if the creditor has a CCJ, and that would usually be much further down the line, if at all.
You may find your creditors are perfectly happy to accept your offers and will not feel the need to take further action. If they do, it's much more common for debts to be passed to a debt collection agency (DCA) before court action is considered.
Best wishes
Susie
