Does anyone remember the nivea lip things we got for free or very cheap. Been using one for the past few days as my lips are cracked and sore and it doesnt seem to be helping. Infact they seem worse
Wondering if anyone else had, had this problem with them.

I have had dry lips aswell, and cracking, the best thing I have used for the last few days is Blistex Moisturiser, it smells a bit like toothpaste, but it sinks right in, put loads on when you go to bed.

......I managed to get a discretionary blue badge and am so looking forward to using it when away Its ok here as I don't generally go far.
Up here we can park almost indefinitely but I have my 3 hour badge timer to take

Dave Belated birthday wishes and enjoy the weekend celebrations

Take care and enjoy your day

    Bless you mrsmac :A

When my cancer spread to my spine last year, I received a Blue Badge. But the looks I got from some people when parking in disabled bays at supermarkets
    :(
The last time I used it was months ago when I was with my wife and daughter - and a man walking behind us shouted to me “it must really hurt” :(:o

I’m a proud person, and I will do my utmost to hide my pain - especially in front of my teenage DD, she silently worries enough about me.

Perhaps an opportune time to kindly ask/remind people not to be so judgemental on appearances/hidden disabilities.

Been to see Finding your feet.
What a fabulous film it is, I wasn't expecting much but mum wanted to see it so made her wait until a tues/weds!
Thoroughly recommend it, especially at £6.50 for 2.

I saw it on Monday and I agree it was brilliant....funny and poignant moments !

    Thanks.
Son suffers. The carex that we had free from Superdrug was terrible, it stung as soon as it was put on!

    :)

So today I was meant too of been going to Cheshire Oaks as annual birthday treat from Other Sister
But overnight developed the foot of extreme pain :(

Had to take co codomal to be able to sleep - I can't put any weight on it.
So I now have been triaged at Drs & have an appt at 10.50am.
Other Sister coming down to take me :)
But, I have to tackle the stairs & walk to the car park first _pale__pale__pale_

Fourp has found a crutch :) & I have my thumb stick too

    :(:(:(:(

Plus I'm seeing a Dr who judges me by my weight rather than my symptoms ...

Right I need to find a sandal I can put on :o
