    You may need to enter the code into the MS store on the Xbox rather than on the laptop.

    If you didn't get a message telling you that it could only be redeemed on the Xbox store, then it should be visible as a download when you log on to the Xbox next time.

    I think I'm right here but as you logged into the Xbox using your login details its linked to your account so any games you add to your account using a code will be downloaded to your account, maybe not right away but when you turn the Xbox on.

    Could someone explain how I get the 2player (me & wife) option on my screen, so we can play against each other?

    That will depend on the game.

    Which game were you thinking of both playing ?

    Well yes I did wonder but he might have had another game in mind.
    If it is FH4 OP the 2 player option (if supported) should be as an option in game.

    Sorry my gratitude has been sporadic, but its a busy time at the moment, and I am not visiting board, as often as I would like.
    Yes, I was specifically meaning Forza 4 as well as Project Cars 2.
    I cannot see(its probably staring me in the face Lol)anything telling me how to gain 2 player option(s)

    Neither Project Cars 2 nor Forza Horizon 4 support split screen play and in general it's becoming increasingly rare unfortunately. Nintendo are the only ones who actively support split screen at the moment.

    Unfortunately this is common place within the industry now, i brought RDR2 and it took about 3 hours before i could play it!

    Its very complicated to now run split screen due to the FPS and the processing speed required to run two images simultaneously. This is why Nintendo tend to be the only ones focusing on it, there games are not exactly graphical powerhouses!
