    Would you not be able to save on capital gains tax though, with a mobile or staying with rellies? as if you move in the other house when its done, i suppose effectively you will own two?
    Some of those mobiles that you can get are quite nice and roomy, of course I haven't had to live in one!

    we won't be liable for any capital gains tax cos we'll be selling our present house to move into the new one.

    If you get the caravan then when the house is finished then all the people who think that it sounds idelic,me included, can be put in it when they invite themselves to stay!

    yeah come any time!! although you wouldn't have to stay in a caravan cos we'll have loads of room!
