Bad House Survey

Hi, I had a survey done on a house a few months ago which I am now living in.

Basically they said my oil tank was bunded when in fact it is only single skinned. This was stated as fact and not assumed.

What I'd like to know is do you think I have a claim against my surveyor for compensation, and if so what can I expect to get?
