Hi greent thanks so much for that :) I think it's more a case of I wasn't aware rather than him. It is just as you have said, we will rent to a new company. We do need to speak to the bank, but really want to get a plan properly locked down, it's all rather up in the air until we meet with them again on Thursday. Anyway, I hope you and the family are having a great summer break :D

We are thanks, ng. Tbh, it's the kind of charge which people forget about anyway (as your husband may have) - the property tends to be the one which people think of most :)

Hopefully it'll all get sorted satisfactorily soon - and then you can all sleep easier and begin a new set of plans :) xx

    Thanks greent :)

My evil sons have decided to go out this evening , even though they are off to reading festival tommorow morning  As they have spent most of their birthday money they will be hoping to borrow from us, they will however (in Cinderella style) not get a penny if they arrive home after 10.59 pm, it's a work night so not 12 :rotfl:

When is it that children stop causing you stress and stop you sleeping I wonder? I thought the toddler years were the worst, now I'm not so sure. I feel 101 today!

They arrived at 10.59 and 45 seconds :rotfl:

We are currently on our way to the business meeting, dh made the rather risky decision to drive which was a mistake! We will now be pretty late as apparently driving across central London in rush hour can get a little busy, who knew :p

    Thanks Daisy, meeting done :)

It's gone ok, a bit worrying when he suggested they pay "rent" to cover the mortgage amount  £840 pm currently, however that did include them paying back some of the liabilities.

We had already decided it would be much harder to renegotiate the rent further down the line when they are our bosses, so better have the rent higher and clear the debts ourselves. We haggled up to £1k per year under the market rent which is over double :T

Now however we will have a much much larger mortgage on our home again, plus business debts to pay off :(

On the plus side though, we all keep our jobs and on the same money :T

The boys are at reading festival as of yesterday, no wellies, no jumpers and a few 99p ponchos, rather them me I have to say! Dh and I stopped off for lunch on the way back from the meeting, it's our anniversary today and for the first time ever I haven't even bought a card
