    Thanks Dl...would have gone for the breaded fishcakes, but found recently that Heron similar products are better value.

    If you've got a Savers near you, I think they do Cerex bottles at 90p and with the 33% extra free aswell.

    I can see carnage at opening time when this starts where people are fighting to save 25p having driven 5 miles to do so.

    I don't think this promotion is aimed at us Lidl regulars. We are already quite comfortable with non-branded items. This is about making a PR splash, potentially attracting brand shoppers, and aligning Lidl to poundshops at a time when they are vulnerable.
