My first win came after 6 days and was fairly small. It's all just completely random, but the more you enter the better your chances of coming away with a prize. If you're looking for a quick win to keep you motivated, focus on entering comps ending soon. I don't remember, to be honest.
Kinda depends what competitions you're entering, if you're entering for any old tatt then shouldn't take too long, if you're only entering for the better prizes then will take a bit longer ... it's all the luck of the draw though so for you it could take days, weeks, months, years ... who knows
