Personal Trainer owes me money as he didn't provide me with training sessions

Options
For over 6 months I have been trying to get back £300 I paid to a personal trainer for sessions he did not give me. I have spoken to CAB on a couple of occasions but I can't seem to get an answer to one specific question.

The personal trainer told me that he was applying for bankruptcy and then informed me that this was not happening and CAB would be writing to all his creditors with a payment plan.

As he has messed me around so much I'm not sure whether I believe this is the route he has gone down or not.

He is now refusing to communicate with me as he says it all needs to happen through CAB now.

He did tell me that he was meeting with CAB today to finalise everything. What I was hoping to find out was a timescale in which I could expect to hear from CAB before I start any other avenues that are left open to me.

Can anyone tell me if I'm likely to hear within 2 weeks/a month?

Many thanks.
