Google the title thread, press the little arrow down next to the URL, click cached. It should come up with the original.
as a TL: DR Op was hoping to leave job early, employer refused. he didn't get a pat on the back for finding a new job and is upset.
Thinks 35-50 year olds simply don't understand the needs of a 28 year old child.0 -

I think Google only caches every few hours so this "rant" was presumably not up for long enough to be recorded for posterity!
Generally, if I reply to an OP, I quote the whole thing then highlight the relevant parts for just this reason.
I find it grossly rude when people ask for advice then delete the original question.0 -
+1 for this view of rudeness. Which makes the OP's statement 'I've deleted because the replies are rude' somewhat ironic............I was a board guide here for many years, but have now resigned. Amicably, but I think it reflects very poorly on MSE that I have not even received an acknowledgement of my resignation! Poor show, MSE.
This signature was changed on 6.4.22. This is an experiment to see if anyone from MSE picks up on this comment.0 -

Sorry, marliepanda, it was "this" what? What did it say? I love the "28 year old child" bit. I keep saying it's too darned early for snow!0 -
Missed it! Are you sure he was 28? It's possible there was a training day.....0
