Halogen Ovens - are they any good?

I have a mini oven which needs replacing, I don't use big ovens. I'm thinking of a halogen oven instead but wonder how easy it is to use, would I be better off with another mini oven?

    I use mine nearly every day ( a JML ). Easy to use and just wash the bowl in the DW.

    Been without an oven for 5 years after moving into sheltered housing pensioners bungalow with a tiny kitchen. No hob either. Been using a microwave and remoska. Bought a halogen oven 7 litre one a month ago, used it every day since, grilling, baking almost everything. Just made a lovely quiche, rather large so will share it with a neighbour. Next baking effort will be a rice pudding, not had a proper one for years, I baggsy the skin on top! Great item for those living alone.

    There is another thread in this section headed "Electric frying pan or halogen oven?" started by bouicca21 in January that may be useful to you.

    Unfortunately I don't seem to have the knack for making a link. Maybe someone else can do it.
