My daughter is going to start nursery in January for 2 full days a week. She is 1 years old.
Can I claim any help?
Both myself and husband will be working over 24 hours between us. Our combined income with my new part time salary will be below £46,000.
When I use the gov.uk website to find out it asks for info but based on previous years info and I was working full time prior to maternity leave so the figures aren't an accurate reflection of what will happen in January.
If we were to claim help towards childcare costs will we still get the family allowance of £82.80 a month as I can't work out if that will stop to claim the other.
Please help!!
Thanks

If you are then you need to use a benefit calculator for universal credit.
