Selling your wedding dress

Wedding dresses NEVER sell for anything close to the RRP second time around. There are exceptions, if its Coture maybe, but thats about it.

I sold a wedding dress on Ebay - i bought it second hand on facebook but then changed my mind so sold it on. I lost £25 from the little i paid initially.

Second hand dresses are less popular unfortunately due to so many places selling new ones at such affordable prices, but i would highly recommend having it cleaned, as no one wants to buy their dress and its grubby or smells like someone else, it doesn't help them to picture themselves in it.

Websites like sellmywedding.co.uk or Stillwhite.co.uk are great for selling your dress, but both charge a small fee. I see a lot on PreLoved and Facebook too, but with less success.

When listing make sure you list all alterations, your size, height, heel height and measurements. While a standard bridal 12 might be the buyers size, if youre a 12 bust with a 8 waist it might not be worth their time.
