Hi All
I'm due to start my DMP on 1st December and have kept my creditors updated via letter with my intentions.
I received a letter from Newday regarding my Amazon credit card. It says that "your account is now with newday's debt recovery unit" and that I should call them to set up a payment plan.
Should I ring them and remind them of my start date, or is it better to put this in writing? Is there a chance that they will pass the debt to an external company?
Thank you

Hi,
I wouldn't ring them.
Not too sure how it works but, I'd write to them telling them that you have a DMP set up and the details and then pass the letter on to the DMP company to contact them.
I would imagine that you'll get a few more of those coming through.0 -
