Transferring in police pension

Hello. Wondered if anyone here has any experience of calculating transfers into police pension scheme, namely 1987 scheme.
I have £150,000 CETV from my old company and wondered what calculation factors they use to convert that into credits (additional years). I have already transferred in two other pensions worth, roughly, £74000 which bought me nearly 5 years. Using my basic maths that works out at between £15000-£16000 for a years credit but I understand it’s not quite as simple as that. If anyone has any ideas they could put across in layman’s terms I’d be grateful.

I suggest you post this in the main pensions board as this sub-board is for Auto Enrolment queries and has a low read / contribution level.
