Tax returns online and CGT

Hi all, my partner and myself have filled in online tax returns for a few years as we rent property, we sold our main residence earlier this year and we are trying to fill in the CGT part of our return. Now it says "Write that Private Lettings Relief is claimed" but it doesn't ask for your working out, i.e how long you lived there and how long it was let? Am I missing something?

Thanks for any assistance.

No, they don't automatically want to see your workings. If they want to check, they'll open an enquiry and ask you to send them. Alternatively you can explain/outline them in the "other information" white-space box of the main return.
