Generally I find people don't care, I tell people about "savings" like this all the time, it seems to be considered being a cheapskate or something. TBH I couldn't care less if people chose to waste their money, more savings for me.
If its people living in a bubble that don't know about such things then I have little sympathy for that, its up to people to ask and make themselves informed."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
OK, so it's a certain amount of extra hassle, but if you get your regular medications prescribed two months worth at a time, by timing things correctly you can get 20 months cover by buying 4 of the 3 month certificates and only renewing them when you really need to.0

Depends on your CCG. Quite a few limit GPs to giving only 1 month./28 days at a time.0

Interesting article, I've had a prepayment for years now but I thought I'd see just how much I save.
11 items per month on repeat prescription, plus
1 item every 2 years
1 item every 6 months
And usually ( same for last 3 years)
6 items every 3/4 months ( assume 4)
That does not include any additional visits to the doctor above my normal
That's 152.5 items minimum per year @ £9
£1372.5
I save over £1200 ...:eek::eek::eek:
( Unless I have the maths bit totally wrong of course)0
