Litigation Loan Interest charges
Comments
-
As much as my litigation bill is a very large one, I do believe my solicitors from Day 1 have had my best interest, (arresting, police, non molestation order, child court custody, etc you name it)
Needless to say I had some savings which paid towards my legal bill, but one never knew how far this would go.... and how much more money it would cost..
I did enquire for Legal Aid, but was told I wasn't eligible due to being on a Mortgage (basically owning half of our marital home)
Its very double edge sword, as I have great credit, picked up a new job whilst going through this horrendous divorce, its not full time and can't be as my Son at the time was only 5yrs old.... I also worked within my ex husbands business for past 7yrs hence why I had to go and get a job, many friends said not to, but I have always worked and always will!
My issue and my reach out for advice was purely to see if I could some way get help with the extortionate amount of monthly interest I am being charged... I shall keep requesting to 1. freeze the monthly interest and 2. offer an affordable repayment plan with this litigation loan company and if I don't feel they are treating me fair with whatever they give reason to not accept my offers than I shall have to turn to the Financial Ombudsmen... The loan company is FCA registered and perhaps the FO can suggest or request an agreement of some sort!

            Hi Cake Crusader
Thanks for your suggestions on getting the house "sale ready"
See below the link to my property currently on the market - this property was extended and renovated 3 years ago to such a high standard, hence why the price is at £865-£875K This property does not need anything doing to it, it is ready for new buyers to move in..

Viewers feedback so far have been positive its just finding that right buyer who is willing to pay for this...0 -
It would be a good idea to get help from a debt charity (Stepchange etc), it would also be a good idea to remove the link in your last post.0
