We like Asda Shades quilted, £5.50 for 18 rolls however they are soft to use and flush easily in the loo. Used to use Andrex, however more expensive, seem to have a coating and can take multiple flushes to get rid of the paper in the loo; hence why we changed to the Asda ones a few years back; our loo roll of choice.0

The Asda non quilted Shades is fine as well. If you are a member of Costco their bulk buy Kirkland paper is good, often get a voucher off making ot even more reasonable. I stocked up at Waitrose when I got a voucher so still using that0
