There's no guarantee the car could be sold for more than Mercedes Finance settlement price. Car would have to be sold privately to achieve the best price, trade-in price will be similar to settlement.so here is an example

buy price on that car is starting from £36K plus

do the maths yourself and buying that car back of them will be sub £20K so you can sell that car for about 24K making £4k back only investing £10478 over two years rather than paying the whole lot up front.0 -
Very few cars at this level will be sold by private sale.
No idea why your confusing the issue with VAT.0
